Listing Criteria and Registration
The agency or service provider listed on the PADRN website must provide services that support the dignity and independence of those in the aging and disabled population. The agency or service provider can be from the government, non-profit or for-profit sector.
Agencies/service providers must:
- Have a base of operation on the Peninsula and have been in existence for at least six (6) months prior to registering for a listing on the PADRN website.
- Have appropriate and current licenses or other documents as required to serve clients.
- Operate with appropriate insurance and other protections recommended/required for the service(s) it provides.
- Not discriminate on basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability.
- Have a written policy on conducting criminal background checks for employment.
- Conduct regular training programs for staff development and with regard to clients’ rights and client privacy.
- Conducts periodic client satisfaction surveys and offer the results for viewing to non-agency/provider individuals.
- Hold current membership in regional professional groups such as the Peninsula Task Force on Aging, the Senior Services Coalition or established equivalent.
- Notify the PADRN site immediately if a license or other required permit to operate has been revoked or suspended.
- Notify the PADRN site immediately if the agency/service has not had a satisfactory financial audit or review within the last three years of its operation.
Removals/Exclusions:
An agency/service provider will be excluded from a listing on PADRN website when/if:
- The PADRN site receives complaints regarding a service provider that are reviewed by the PADRN Advisory Committee and the Committee recommends a revocation of the listing.
- The service does not consistently adhere to the rules and protocols of the PADRN.
