The Williamsburg Community Health Foundation is a non-profit, private, grantmaking foundation whose mission is “to improve the health of the people living in the Greater Williamsburg area in collaboration with community partners”. The Foundation is focused on promoting health and wellness, insuring the availability of accessible, quality health-related services, and strengthening our grantees’ organizational effectiveness and capacity.
Grantmaking is one way we make a difference in the community. Equally important are the relationships we foster, the dialogue we fuel, and the capacity building we provide. By serving as a resource and catalyst, we build capacity for the healthcare community overall by better equipping it to work together, secure funding, and run effective organizations.
